Assalamu-alaykum June 1, 2017 Zamboanga City, Philippines On the night of Ramadan when my Muslim cousins where going to their church called "Mosque" or "Masjid" in Arabic word. Then I wanted to go with them and they had told me that I can go with them. At 6:00 in the evening I took a bath and some mosque started the prayer. After taking a bath I change my cloths, pajamas and t-shirt and then ate together with my Muslim relatives since they practiced fasting on which they did not eat breakfast and lunch but they only eat more in dinner time. After I cleaned myself I wash my face, feet and underarm then I wear my long white hijab and long white skirt. I bring the praying mat that was used by the Muslims while they are praying to their God "Allah" It is hard to put a hijab on my face but luckily my aunt helps me. Yes! I went to the mosque just to observe them. They told me on what to do and not to do and also there is a right way of wearing a hijab, make it sure that when we wear a hijab our skin is not exposed and our hair are kept. You are not allowed to touch, talk to the boys since it is against the Islamic Law. As we go, I waved "Bye" to my aunt and to my mother as we leave our house and ride into my uncle's car but the driver is my cousin. We are all female and the boys are the first one who will be at the mosque. The worship starts at 7:00 in the evening, as we arrived at the mosque we left our sleepers outside the door and wait for the prayer to start. The prayer begins with "Allahuakbar" which means "God is gracious and most merciful" and then all of us bow for 1 hour and I did not understand the languange because the languange is Arabic, yes it was tired but at the same time I feel blessed because it is one of my plans to visit the mosque. After one hour the worship is done and we all females greeted and hugged each other, then we wait at the door of the mosque because the boys are going out first and then the ladies go out. And that ends of my story thank you for reading my blog!
